I haven’t figured out why, but Hoogy seems to get hit in the face more than any other player.

What position do you prefer to play?

Midfield but I have played defense too

El, Kev and Browny are IN

badum - tshhhh

I will see - I can’t play 5s this Thursday now as I have a gig, and It’d be nice to have a run out first to see where I am. Can’t wait to get back though.

It was just my way of saying “I’ve missed you”.

Welcome to our debutants, and apologies to those of you who get called up for keeper duty…

Good stuff I am looking forward to it. (Are we allowed to sledge the other team I’m thinking of word play on hack! )

That is encouraged, obviously.

Browny is OUT

Played last night put myself in defense to get a feel for it, played ok but 90mins could be challenging!

Speaking as somebody who has never seen you play football, I have complete and total faith in you.

CCJFC 11-2 DiS

So, this wasn’t great, But for pretty obvious reasons - a lot of late dropouts meant we ended up with 10 players (including a total of 0 regular centre-backs) plus 2 kids ‘volunteered’ by Hoogy. Was 4-2 at half time and still felt competitive, but we really ran out of steam in the second half, with people forced to play out of position and 3 of our midfield hobbled with injuries. Result was we gave away possession too much and couldn’t keep track of their runners.

However… Everyone worked hard and we still looked pretty decent going forward throughout the game. Well done for that. Extra well dones to Andy’s mate James for stepping in Friday night to play in goal, El for playing 90 minutes when he could barely walk, and James A and newbie David for putting in solid shifts in unfamiliar defensive roles.

With a bigger/more balanced squad out am confident we could have beaten that team. So, you know… Turn up. Go DiS!
