Hi all,
It’s been a while for various reasons, but it’s time I upgraded us to the latest Discourse version - there’s some much needed security patches and the admin panel’s been nagging us for a long while about them.
There’s literally been over 2000 changes to the discourse codebase - large and small - since we last updated, so it’s likely that some things will feel slightly different after I’ve run the update. If there’s something that seems broken or has changed and is specifically bothering you afterwards, please let me know in this thread or post on our Site Feedback board and I’ll take a look.
It’s possible there’s a brief moment of downtime when I run the updates, but from previous experience these upgrades can often run transparently - will likely be around 10pm if there is any instability.
