Mega Gengar is banned from online standards because Shadow Tag is too good!

Vanilla Gengar probably needs a Life Orb, it’s too frail to bother with a defensive item. Like:

Shadow Ball
Sludge Wave
Focus Blast/Thunderbolt
Will-o-Wisp/Taunt

well I struggle because as a c******e person I feel a lot of shame and anxiety if I’m not c******g anything so I don’t know if my advice would be easily generalisable. It’s good to escape from your own thoughts from time to time but I wouldn’t advise any adult play videogames for more than 2 hours a day.

If I knew this was the Pokémon thread I would have come in here earlier! I put ridiculous amounts of hours into the games over the years, gave up just before Black/White came out. (Came out of a long term relationship where we both played the games together and traded Pokémon with each other so I couldn’t handle having the games around anymore.)

I restarted Red last week after finding my Game Boy Pocket and my Red, Blue and Gold cartridges. Forgot how much I loved it. Might try and work my up through the games to the modern day this summer.

Oh, I was always one of those gits who used the most powerful looking Pokémon. I remember having a team on HeartGold with two Dragonites, a Tyranitar, an Infernape and a Typhlosion. Kept a Raichu on the team as well for sentimental reasons.

I remember buying HeartGold and loving it. I’ve just checked and they’ve remade Ruby and Sapphire? Amazing! I loved the world and the mechanics in those games! Surfing Raichu! Did Lt. Surge have one of those in Gold/Silver? I’m surfing a wave of nostalgia here![/spoiler]
