Gonna have a think about this and get back to you!

Lysa Arryn?

Just as many immensely satisfying deaths as there are horrible and heartbreaking ones though. The second time watching it I completely broke down over Maester Luwin’s death at Winterfell, he was a truly good one and all the Stark kids are so tiny and they don’t know what to do and he realises what he’s leaving them to. :broken_heart: I’ve started reading A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms now btw

@whiterussian what question would you like to be asked?

Hello @whiterussian

Have you ever been to Russia?
Where’s your favourite place to get dresses?

Never been to Russia, been pretty close to the border though.

Depends what kind of dress you’re going for! If I’m looking for a nice, casual everyday kind of dress that I can wear either to work or just to hang out with friends, then your standard H&M or Primark type chain shops absolutely do the trick (one of my favourites here in Norway is called Lindex). If I’m looking for something nicer, the absolute best is to go to those shops that have both second hand/vintage and newer things in the same kind of style(s). You know, the shops that have lots of pin-up clothing but also stuff for normal human beings.

I don’t buy dresses online because I have a hard enough time finding a good fit irl due to the combination of my height and body shape. Wish I could, there’s so much amazing stuff out there.

i didn’t realise there was a difference between zonino and fenino :man_shrugging: i am a generic beardy speccy man like many a DiSer

I’m happy to answer almost anything, this has certainly kept me busy and entertained throughout a day that would otherwise just be spent in bed or watching rubbish television!

That said, I did once consider starting a thread called something like “I’m a foreigner/Scandi/Norwegian, ask me anything” and obviously never tire of answering questions about my glorious motherland, so anything you want to know about that, ask away. :bouvet_island: :bouvet_island:

Zonino is the big party thing that used to happen at The Windmill in Brixton and was largely organised by @bamos et al. Fenino is like a Cambridge based pub crawl???

what is your favourite & least favourite thing about the norway?

@andyvine fenino is an unsanctioned zonino spinoff that takes place in the fens*. this confused me for a long time.

*this is my understanding

shite names either way eh

fucking southerners and their shitey names, man

@whiterussian if you had to name a pub, what would you name it? also what would you call your band that you had if you had one

@ttf Re: Bright Eyes: It’s going to have to be a tie with Old Soul Song. I swear I won’t add any more even though it’s really, really difficult.

I am cooking now dudes but will get right back on this when I’m all done!

Hi again WR,

  • How do you feel about having by far the longest AMA so far on DiS?
  • Do you think you’ll hold the record for long?
  • :skier: or :snowboarder:?

Good drum bit in that

  • I was not aware. It has probably helped that I haven’t even left the flat all day and had nothing else to do.
  • Probably not. People are just warming up to the format!
  • :skier: when younger, but now :coffee: (pretending that’s a hot chocolate that I’m enjoying while other people are taking care of the skiing)
