This actually made me realise that I think I’ve only ever owned an album by Oasis (back when Wonderwall was No 1 in every chart across the entire planet and I wanted to be cool), but definitely prefer Blur in general. Saw them live once here in Oslo while I was wasted and it was fun.

However, my answer is Pulp.

Scottish delicacy - pizza deep fried in batter, covered in salt and vinegar. I think you’d love it tbh.

Pulp’s cheating, they were good. I’ll put you down as Blur.

I just spent almost a week in the UK! Not London this time around though. Will probs be able to visit more regularly when/if I ever get an actual proper job and a decent income.

Absolutely nothing to add on Scottish politics but having lived in Wales I can’t say I blame them for wanting to get rid of England innit

Well, what have you had on in recent years?

I would consider just going for a stone cold classic like actual Halloween tbh

all the classics: cube, suspiria, deep rising, it follows; that kind of thing. not actually watched halloween for years so that could be a decent shout, thanks

I had to google this to make sure I really got it, but turns out we’ve had a Norwegian version of the same French show that Crystal Maze is based on, and that I watched a lot as a kid!

To buy some more time to think before answering this, I need to know if I’m one of the six or if it’s me plus six more people please.

Is there ANYTHING you lot DON’T prefer deep fried!?

Ok sorry thought of one:

what’s your favourite smell and when did you first smell it?

Can’t think of a single one atm sorry mate

Definitely a cat. They sleep all day and are soft and cuddly. My dream existence (apart from catching mice etc)

hello @whiterussian i hope you are well

id like to hear about your memories of meeting me at fenino pls, as i have not been to a fenino

thanks in advance x

Of course!

As long as you also answer my second question, too.

As a veggie this is a bit of a tricky one, as the traditional foods/meals that have survived are fish or meat centric. But there is one traditional meat dish that I deliberately had once after becoming veggie (my first veggie Christmas):

It’s super good but I had to lie down for a couple of hours after eating it as the first bit of meat in like 6-7 months.

If fish/meat isn’t a problem then obviously Norway has a lot of really good seafood and fish dishes as our country is basically all coastline, and traditional farm animals here are pretty much the same as in the UK (ie. pigs, sheep, cows etc) so lots of local variations on that as well. Cured meats is a very Norwegian thing, for example. Can’t really answer for Sweden or Denmark, sorry.

Too busy to meet me :sleepy:

(I had asked my mate in Barry to get in touch with him several weeks in advance but he hadn’t done that so obviously NB had a full schedule by the time I got in touch.)

Does the UK count? Kind of my second home innit
