guys, this is making me want to watch a bunch of films
On the flipside, some of my highest placements are films where I saw them once and the actual experience of seeing them was so memorable and impactful that I’ve actively decided to keep it that way by avoiding rewatching
On Moonlight, did anyone enjoy If Beale Street Could Talk as much as me? Thought it was incredible, the score was magnificent (by your Succession man)
The score is absolutely fucking beautiful, I liked the film a lot but it hasn’t stuck with me really
DiS loves a manic pixie dream girl
It did for me and then I watched Sunshine and Dune 2 and now I never want to see another film again
MPDGs and lesbians make up about 70% of the list
Sunshine is a very fine flick ![]()
Just realised I had Mean Girls in my list twice
Did you spot that @Mert ?
results thread declared NULL AND VOID
Where does 500 days of Summer place?
I spotted everything
If people doubled-up on films then the lower scored one wasn’t counted
This happened on about a quarter of all lists
One even had two duplicate films
You guys

Was just typing this
Sunshine is 2/3rds spectacular and 1/3rd spectacularly stupid, wrapped up in a cosy Underworld blanket of a soundtrack. Film gives me more whiplash than the film Whiplash.
I’m beginning to think I should have spent more time on my list rather than sorting my Letterboxd by descending star rating. Some big hitters that I didn’t vote for.
Might be worse than arrival, genuinely
The shamblee becomes the shamblor
Or something
Remember almost nothing about Eternal Sunshine. Ironic?
did anyone else vote for ring of fire?
