Completely agree with you on this. I still laugh at this even though I’ve watched it loads. Bryan corpsing is absolutely the best and how London keeps going is amazing.

I get that, and I appreciate that in some ways it is impressive - the commitment to KAYFABE is objectively just pretty amazing - I just find it hard to disentangle from the silly Americanness of it all.

It’s just an extension of the circus for me. Of course it’s all nonsense, but if you enjoy it then go with it. Definitely one of life’s guiltiest pleasures though. I’ve often pretended not to know anything about it in certain company.
