Dissers in bands/avid gig goers I need your help

#1

For one of my ‘freelance projects’ (fuck off) I write up profiles on grassroots/indie promoters across the country, preferably not London.

I know a whole heap having done as much research as possible, but there’ll be so many i’ll miss coz i’m not local to an area.

So can you guys tell me the best promoters in your area and I’ll figure out how to get in touch with them meself?

Yrs Lovingly

I don’t know if The Great Northern are still going in Newcastle but I’ll see who my mates around there rate.

@Severed799 might know some Glasgow promoters.

Brighton:

Dictionary Pudding is a must. Brighton’s finest promoter

Spinningchilli - they put on lots of weird and interesting punk/post-punk bands, many of whom would’ve had a few spins and sessions on Peel

Cupboard Music doesn’t do as many gigs these days but they still have some ace gigs happening

There’s definitely more but my mind has gone blank.
