I happened upon the below earlier and just the screenshots and artwork make me feel sick. couldn’t watch it. i don’t think it’s an uncanny valley thing as some more abstract animation gives me the same feeling. BOKE

Absolutely, I find some animation styles completely unwatchable. People keep telling me I’d really enjoy Bob’s Burgers but something about the colour scheme and the way their faces look head on gives me the absolute ick.

Dunno if it counts as animation or puppetry really but big unmoving costumes like this give me the mega creeps. Haven’t played or watched Five Nights at Freddys but I guess the popularity of that means I’m not alone
and obviously all the AI slop around, leaving aside all the ethical or even aesthetic concerns, really is the stuff of nightmares to watch including the relatively innocuous ones. the uncanny-to-the-maxness of it is skin crawling
