Forgot to post this! Not got a healed shot yet but here’s a very fresh, quite red shot of the extra bits I had added on to Judy the goldfinch felt like she needed more foliage…the artist didnt even use a template this time, just drew straight onto my skin, she’s awesome.

I love it but she does even better birds than this. Always feel a bit envious of some of her others, think she might have rushed this one a bit tbh

I know, but old bad tattoos almost become invisible to the owner once you accept its something you cant change and part of your story. I have two shit ones, thankfully in places I never really see, but loads of tattoo artists are picky/weird/resistant to doing cover ups. One on my back was done badly and is just an awful blob but it reminds me of a good road trip at least. But yeah shame they don’t take on that same invisible aura to other people.

Also, I think you should have to be at least 25 to have a tattoo and that’d sort out so so many bad ones.

I don’t know when it’ll be, but when I do one day get a horse tattoo (horsegirl 4 lyf mates) I know who’s gonna do it. She’s done one of my very basic tattoos a few years back, and I’ve noticed she does loads of animals – and rides horses herself, so will be sure to make it good! Several horse/unicorn tattoos on her insta already. I like her dotwork as well, which I don’t have yet.

Edit: Oh! I thought I was just posting her profile, but yeah, that’s the unicorn one I spotted. Lots of other animals including normal horses on her feed as well.

I’m having to not get tattooed [much] this year so I can afford to go to Japan and it’s taking a lot of strength.
