don’t really get why you need to dry anything, just leave it on the rack until the next day, job done

Get the big boys out of the way first. Pretty much my philosophy for everything.

(although if something needs soaking I will obviously let it soak first)

I employ the @kermitwormit method of soaking the cutlery, usually in a saucepan. Sometimes leave the pans til later, depends how nonchalant I’m feeling.

Made scrambled eggs? Soak that pan in COLD water

One good thing I’ll say for the Finns, and probably all the nordic types I dunno (@whiterussian?) Is that they have washing up CUPBOARDS where they stick their recently washed plates and such to dry. Out of the way, so you’ve not got loads of dishes hanging about looking untidy, but they dry in the cupboard and that’s that, no fucking around drying dishes like a total moron, gbol
