They might do but itā€™s never visible to the human eye.

Remember when it was exciting to see these and now you see them every day in Northants, boring

Some of them just sit on the waves

I still think itā€™s exciting to see these, sorry

You would!

  • Not a bird of prey, mug them off
  • Could take us all down any day they chose to

Canā€™t barely look at a tree without spotting a bird of prey

multiple choice

they must live quite lonely lives compared to other birds donā€™t you think? Never see them in groups, always high above everything. Itā€™s nice to see crows getting stuck in together looking for worms etc or having a chat up on a roof aerial

Saw a red kite run into a bush once, does that count?
I say run it was kind of flapping just above ground level but also kind of padding along the floor.

Can they run or is it hopping?

Allegiance to our long necked overlords is not multiple choice

My old avatar was literally a red kite taking off from the tree in our garden. Iā€™d been watching in the tree.

I donā€™t think youā€™ve even looked at a tree

Saw an owl in a tree in Malaysia

Some birds can run though like some game birds and some flightless ones. I guess it is a trade off, you can run but people will shoot at you or you canā€™t fly. Their decision I suppose.

Please see OP and its allowance for owls.

will do
