Yeah, spiders are our buddies against annoying insects. Been teaching my kids their value and not to be scared of them/be careful with them. They both held a tarantula at a show and tell thing at Latitude earlier this year and were significantly more chill about it than I was…
Would you touch a spider?
How do you get rid of spiders in your home?
No strong feelings one way or the other
Have you ever fed a spider?
i generally let them stay, so i guess that’s letting them leave on their own?
i help them out of the tub if i’m planning to have a bath but that’s about it.
I wasn’t sure quite how to answer the OP question - I’m broadly pro-spider as long as they stay the hell away from me. I wish them no harm but they scare the crap out of me.
I don’t think I could say that I like them in good faith but I certainly don’t dislike them. How would you like me to respond pollwise?
Yeah same. Those freaky horrible fucks are fine as long as I don’t have to see them (it’s only really house spiders in the mother fucking UK that bother me).
I will take care of this
My dog chases and kills them with a paw/tongue combo.
Are you neither friend nor foe to spiders?
How much on a scale of one to ten? One is have and 10 is love
Thank you very much JazzBazz, if everybody on this community took such care with their threads it would be a better place
It’s all about size and speed for me.
The big fuckers who run fast are the problem.
If they could be convinced to fuck off all would be fine.
Are people who are scared of spiders also scared of other bugs and creepy crawlies and that?
Nope. I’m a pure spiderman.
Do you ever go “EEEK!” and stand on a chair?
No because usually my wife is about and she’s about ten times worse than me (she would be an all creepy crawlies) so I like to look like I’m Steve Backshall or something.
I think Steve Backshall is probably a “housewive’s favourite” but I don’t really know
