Some surnames are better than others. And some are just pure rock and roll

Not really, mine is a Scottish surname that has 3 different spellings. Brits struggle with it enough, but foreigners have no chance. I always order taxis and takeaway under ‘smith’ to avoid the confusion.

Some surnames’ mothers are better than other surnames’ mothers.

If I’d taken my mother’s surname, my life would be considerably worse I think

Haven’t re-watched any of the Sopranos since undergoing my extensive personal rebrand a few years back

Certain you’ve never heard any jokes about that name.

Used to like mine until Shane Richie joined the cast of EastEnders then all I heard for years was “oh like Alfie then!”

My life in two chapters:

before adolescence: are you coming or going?

adolescence and after: semen and ejaculation

To be fair that’s my life since adolescence too.

Thanks man! It was nothing, really. I just needed five years of part-time working hours (privilege: checked). Here’s hoping you won’t hate the damn thing!

I don’t like it that much but I’m quite attached to it, especially as me and my dad are the only ones with that name left in the family. I’ll immediately warm to anyone who pronounces it correctly.
