…the word ambulance is overly complicated for what it is? Stuff like that should be a one syllable word for me.
I looked into it and they’ve literally halved the syllables of the French term it comes from as well. What’s going on? Thought those lads might be involved somewhere.
as with all things it’s the wars fault innit, specifically one of the mid-industrial ones they had to walk around with little stretchers for
