Think I read somewhere that they taste awful. Explorers had a nibble etc

Yeah but like awful chicken or awful fish?

Itā€™s going to be like a really greasy and tough version of duck, isnā€™t it?

I donā€™t know Keith, thatā€™s why I asked the question.

They taste like ā€œa piece of beef, odiferous cod fish and a canvas-backed duck roasted together in a pot, with blood and cod-liver oil for sauceā€.

Iā€™ll take 2 please!

No mention of chicken, fish takes it!

Or mint, or orange, depending on what kind

I canā€™t wait for someone like Ottolenghi or Blumenthal to suggest cooking penguin in something that isnā€™t cod liver oil and suddenly making it fashionable.

Forgot to mention the overwhelming taste of sadness that comes from eating such a hilarious animal

Iā€™ve tried one, and they taste a bit like swan.

ā€˜bit of bothā€™ is such a cop-out answer

Apparently seagulls taste very much like fish, so Iā€™d expect penguins, who spend more time in the sea and eat even more fish, to taste even fishier

Same with puffins (my friend went to the Faroes and ate a puffin, he doesnā€™t recommend it)
