Bob’s final joke - a mixture of great wordplay, toilet humour and killer delivery - was one of the funniest bits of the entire franchise, I’ve rewatched it about five times and belly laughed every single time. Perfect encapsulation of why he’s one of the country’s best ever comedians.

Lou Sanders waggling her ‘little tush’ while loudly saying ‘ooh you’re all going to have to admit you fancy me!’ would have knocked me out immediately
And if it hadn’t, then her ‘I’ll fucking nut you’ in character as a bouncer to Richard Ayoade would have.

Only watched one ep but Lou Sanders is a clear highlight, genuinely just really funny in this totally no effort way.

Very enjoyable stuff
Don’t really know why Roisin Conaty was there if she wasn’t in the competition. Could sort of see the value of having a co-host for the first half an episode but once the actual contestants started getting knocked out and going to sit with Jimmy I kept forgetting she was there

Wonder what Lycett and Pascoe’s jokers were going to be. Weird that they sent Wilkinson back in for a second but didn’t use theirs. Not sure we got Ayoade’s either?
The other countries shows have one host. And if no one’s knocked out they just have to sit there awkwardly talking to themselves.
It kind of backfired because of how fast people started getting knocked out in the Uk one.

Quite like that in the Irish one they can pick up the phone and chat to Graham Norton whenever they want, maybe they realised that wouldn’t work in the UK one because no one would want to talk to Jimmy Carr

We finished the Canadian one and we loved it. The first ep was a bit slow but by the last episode we were on the edge of our seats and I accualy cheered the winning joke.
Looking forward to the Irish one next.
Sort of agree with Limmy, feel like it would be much better without all the props and jokers and stuff.

I think I agree. It felt like a bit of a thing to get it going but it really didn’t need it at all. I think the Lou bit in the mirror was odd.

Yeah but that the only one out of like 10 or so attempts and you could say that was largely down to Danny Dyer. Alison in the fridge was ok too
But I just think it would be better the less contrived the ‘jokes’ are.
