She’s no Naughty Torty from insane 90s ITV Saturday morning show What’s Up Doc?, which I’ve just spent half an hour looking for an explanatory clip of before realising there was no explanation other than “man dressed as eldritch nightmare has obviously fake tortoise that expels ghee over people, on a show for children”.

Mrs HYG and I don’t often have massively similar taste in things, so it’s been nice to discover that we’re both reduced to tears by this show. Only have one episode left, but have loved it so far. Richard and Bob’s speed date was just perfect.

Started the Canadian one last night. Lovely to see Colin Mocherie. He hasn’t done much in the first episode but I reckon he’ll be dangerous.
