- Yes
- No
My answer is based on a technicality that the bathroom window upstairs is normally open for airing purposes.
Not me, but the TV does this and it drives me a little bit mad.
She is obsessed with the idea of āfresh airā. Whereas in the current weather I am more interested in the idea of āwarm airāā¦
Do you mean in the same room?
Yes, but mainly just the bathroom to let moisture out after a shower. Can apply to the kitchen too if Iām boiling things.
Yes I mean in the same room. And mine is solely for the āfresh airā.
The only way I can get the temperature right at work is to have the heating blasting on full but the cab window fully open.
Yeah I love having the window open
You guys give mad climate crisis energy
We have the heating on downstairs and itās still chilly enough that Her Indoors sits there in 5 layers and a blanket, but my office is in the attic underneath all the insulation, and in the afternoon it gets hot enough with all the warm air rising up here that I have to crack the window.
Good for fresh air as well innit.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and the world burning make mean i barely have the heating on to be fair but with a window open!?!? Madhouse.
āHeatingā
?
In the bathrooms: yes.
Otherwise; no. Also our house is freezing if the heating aināt on; like we have a timer on for the heating only to be on 6 hours a day and when it goes off itās so cold, so no, I donāt open a window.
In late spring to early autumn every single window and the back door will be open at all times if Iām in the house; gotta have that breeze.
Also itās worth saying Iām heating my house but I have the living room window open.
And I donāt mean wide open. Weāre talking a fraction.
(All four rooms of my āhouseā)
Bedroom window is open a crack to prevent condensation
Otherwise no
