Thereā€™s a guy on my street who does this and it seems to have stopped it. Guess itā€™s shamed the whoever was doing it into picking it up by drawing attention to it.

Used to live on a street in Burnage that was an absolute state for dog shit. Sometimes used to be on our drive, wtf! Like you say, itā€™s horrible to have to look out for it when kids are playing.

Iā€™ve had words with the offenders on multiple occasions, now they try and get here earlier than they used to. It really grinds my gears.

My Granddad Jack (who was my great-granddad rather than my Granddad and whoā€™s name wasnā€™t actually Jack) always used to say to me ā€œDonā€™t throw any dog poo aroundā€ when I went out to play football on the grass bit near his house and it was a really unnecessary thing to say.

But it wasnā€™t until we got out the car that my dad had actually stepped in a huge long dog poo and it was curled over the top of his shoe

I am also passionately against dog poo. I am not a ukiper. We have a similar issue in our village. Drives a lot of people nuts. Most people are responsible but a few clearly couldnā€™t give a fuck. Posts on the community facebook group usually amount to people just saying ā€œoh another post about dog pooā€ itā€™s almost as if itā€™s accepted in some way as happening whether itā€™s illegal and unhealthy or not.

I have nothing useful to contribute to this thread but hereā€™s a dog poo anecdote. My friend told me about her friend who used to take an old handbag with her when walking the dog, to put the poo bags in. One day she got mugged, and the mugger took the bag of dog poo :rofl:

Ooh, reminds me of a friend of mine who, not able to find a dog poo pin while walking the dog, brought her little bag of poo home with her and just as she was letting herself into her flat, the postman came up behind her, gave her a fright, to which she instinctively swung round and let him have a bag of poo to the face.

Dog shit is vile, probably the worst substance on Earth. Dog food is bad enough, but this has then been through and actual dog and out of its arse.

I too have issues in the local area, probably find at least 2-3 shites down the pavement, up to ten on the school run. One the other day was the size and shape of a red bull can, standing on its end too. Then there are the occasional bagged up ones just left in the corner, who fucking does that? There are bins everywhere, by the bus stops or just shove it in someoneā€™s black wheelie bin.

I have been known to follow behind dog walkers with the idea of confronting them if they leave a shit behind, but I never see it happen. It could be a handful of walkers on their daily run leaving it - it would only take a few to leave a serious amount over time. Maybe out very early or late or when no one is around.

I am on the verge of making signs, there was one near the school gates earlier all smushed about. Anyone who leaves shit there is a fucking cunt.

I had someone in the local area throw dog shit onto my car and leave me a nice note saying ā€œPick up your shite you dirty bastard!ā€ which was sad. Called the cops and they were pretty appalled. Did some inquires but found nothing.

I have a dog and I hate anyone not picking shit up.
