My wife’s gran used to have a dog who would headbutt your legs if she’d not had sufficient fuss.

Took her for a walk this morning. Already too hot so she found a stick and refused to move.

Have also had to put her back on rations. She lost loads of weight when she first arrived with us, but has a dodgy stomach where she eats loads of grass once she starts feeling hungry and then throws it all up. So went on to three meals a day to keep her feeling full but overdid the portions. She’s not impressed that her meals have shrunk but hoping she’ll adjust soon. She’s about as good at dieting as I am.

I have a new workmate for the afternoon:

Reminder to check your dog thoroughly for grass seed at this time of year.

We had to take Molly to the vets and have her sedated for a, frankly massive, grass seed to be removed from her ear canal.

Oh no, poor Molly!

She’s OK now, if a little wiped out from the anaesthetic and upset at us for leaving her at the vet

Looking after this little megastar for a few days

Photo makes her look much bigger, she’s a Maltese puppy and about the same size as my shoe

I’m a bit β€˜not my kind of dog, cos I’m a ruddy bloke’ but she is very fun
