Oh man, my dream would be to buy a basset hound and take it on a basset hound walk. I have a friend with a beagle who goes on beagle walks and she posted this the other day
Really want a dog but I dunno if I can justify getting one as I live in a flat and go away a lot at weekends. Has anyone used Borrow My Doggy? I think it could be a good compromise for now
I joined and downloaded the app out of curiosity but no, not done it… yet. I have the fear I’ll kill someone elses dog by accident. Another next door neighbour had a dog and they hired a guy to walk it for them, I was very tempted to offer to do it for free but then when that guy was walking it it got run over It just broke it’s leg thankfully and had to wear the lampshade of doom for a little while but still, argh! The responsibility.
this is my current favourite dog. He hangs out in Bison Beer in Brighton and I think his name is Henry
There’s a gorgeous boxer dog that hangs out in my local. Not usually a fan of boxers but this one is lovely, just walks around to get strokes then sits on the floor for bit. Pub dogs are ace
I love boxers. I saw a clip yesterday of a boxer with really bad separation anxiety crying while being comforted and it broke me for a bit.
We looked after this lovely fox-dog pupper the other day:
She’s called Rosie and we took her for a walk and she started accosting this girl who was sitting having some lunch. We started shouting ‘Rosie, come here, come on’ and all that and it turned out that the girl was called Rosie as well! Hilarity obviously ensued.
and trigg made a face
whats he like he is always sending me selfies
Sascha is absolutely gorgeous PM!
I get sent SO many pictures of my sisters pup Luna - not that I complain
Here’s her modelling a scarf:
And here’s her napping with the family cat:
have been enjoying this today
Omg I love him so much
I’ve been looking after my mam and dad’s dog this past couple of weeks. She’s a colly/German shepherd cross and she’s getting on a bit, she’s 13 (iirc), she’s going deaf, she’s got cataracts and all sorts of weird skin tag things that the vet has said it isn’t worth doing owt about, and she had a stroke at the end of last year but she recovered really well. Anyway here’s her face when I came home the other day:
This is her face most of the time:
Put. The felt tip pens. Away.
just letting you all know I had a wonderful time in the park with Lottie (great name), the pupper in the photos upthread. some lovely stick/squeaky ball throwing times, lots of cuddles (she kept waiting for me to catch up and then she’d run up and say hi), and such a demure little pupper too - not a single bork at any of the other park doggos.
