Dog thread ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿพ

Ozzie has started jumping on the bed in the middle of the night, wanting to go under the covers.

He climbs on the bed at the pillow end and, if he canโ€™t get under the covers, sits down between mine and my wifeโ€™s head and starts sniffing our faces/booping us with his cold, wet nose to wake us up. If we ignore him, he just sits there bolt upright until we give him/put him back in his basket.

I think I need somebody to convince me not to adopt another dog. We already have a lovely 2 year old cocker spaniel but my heart melted when I saw this pretty girl is up for adoptionโ€ฆ

Heโ€™d love it tbf. Itโ€™s taken until now for him to become a nice well behaved pooch so Iโ€™m a bit apprehensive about having to start the training process all over again. Iโ€™m hoping sheโ€™s going to be a lot easier than him!

She sits on it for about 5 seconds every few days. Stupid purchase but worth every penny because she looks so cute

Oh yeah - took Misty to the vet because sheโ€™s really been shaking her head and scratchingโ€ฆ turns out sheโ€™s got fleas :woman_facepalming:t2: Weโ€™ve given her frontline spray, washed everything and vacuumed and sprayed the house but I still find myself scratching out of fear/solidarity lol

Poor olโ€™ fleabag

Continuing the flea chat here rather than the daily thread

The vet gave us the Frontline spray, which we did the next morning. I donโ€™t know whether we should spray her again? It says once every three months, but if the fleas havenโ€™t all diedโ€ฆ Iโ€™m so confused lol

Donโ€™t re-use without checking with the vet first as some can be harmful in too high quantities. I was always under the impression that sprays were less effective than tablets but that might be wrong. If itโ€™s been a week or so since application probably best to call back.
