Back at the vets today, bandage off. Generally healing quite well but one very stubborn bit. Super strict crate rest until next Tuesday at least when we go back for another check up. So much crying

Awww Willow! It’s so hard when you can’t explain to them what’s happening. She’s such a brave and beautiful girl, so glad healing is going (mostly) ok x

Anyone had their dog suffer with cracked paws?
Poor Billy has got one badly cracked that he is now licking and picking at to make it worse. Vet says to leave it to air and not put balm on or put a boot on it which we are doing but also said his pads are worn down as they are pink not dark rough brown.
We presume it’s from his pulling when he knows we are headed to the field 
as he doesn’t really run on rough terrain or anything
