I LOVE ALL OF YOUR DOGS AND I MISS MY DOG AND I’M CROSS ABOUT IT
Not sure which type of crossbreed it is, but the fluffy poodle cross types are especially prone to puppy farming. I got mine from a farm farm, so will be quite different, but what sold me was meeting the mother dog. She was very outgoing and friendly - just wanted cuddles / play with us. Whilst not all dogs will be so naturally outgoing, you will still be able to tell a lot from the mother - I would avoid any pups where the mother is timid or very reserved, and obviously never consider buying without the mother there (don’t accept any excuses).
Failed so badly at training him
@dingaling - Also, whilst you should have questions prepared, be wary of anyone who doesn’t ask you much. They should want to know basic things such as what the household is like, arrangements if it’s left alone, expectations for exercise. If they don’t then it’s a clear indication they’re only interested in £££.
Tonight was Bertie’s turn for a grooming. Less severe than Bramble’s, but looking smart again nevertheless.
More spaniel eyes though:
I am enjoying the similarity of Lottie’s pose to the wooden giraffe in the background.
She’s a good poser, and very protective of little M
aw give this pup some of the beef joint, plenty to go around!
She’s already had a very generous serving!
my mum used to make our dogs full on christmas dinners, with mash and carrots and everything
She’s such a good / well-trained girl. Mine would have had that down in a split second
I take no credit for that, she’s been that way since we got her. Rest assured she’s awful in lots of other ways!
