Found this while going through my photos, itโ€™s my brothers dog Colin enjoying a car boot from a few months ago.

Day made!

Sometimes it really really hurts when I think about how much I love him. Heโ€™s the last thing I see before going to sleep and the first thing I see on waking up. It hurts me so much to think that one day that wonโ€™t be the case. Heโ€™s just the best creature I have ever known. Heโ€™s funny and so incredibly frustratingly naughty, but also caring beyond belief. If I cry or get emotional he jumps straight on me and just rests his face against mine until Iโ€™m better. If I physically hurt myself he presses against my body until I get up and licks my face and brings me all sorts of items he thinks might help. Heโ€™s waiting with his nose to the window every day when I pull up at the house after work.

Heโ€™s honestly the best. I wish he could live forever. My arm is going kind of numb though, but who could wake a dog sleeping so peacefully?

got me thinking on this evergreen classic, very bittersweet :hugs::frowning::cry:

Itโ€™s bittersweet, just try and flip it and think that, to him, you are a constant presence whoโ€™s loved him and will love him for literally his entire life.
