So regal

When she is bitey, just immediately stop playing with her and turn your back. You can expect a few more grumpy moments from the older dog towards the pup but it’s essential so the pup knows how to behave and a wee growl/snap will not do her any harm. Good luck, they’re both cute af.

Don’t think he’s quite worked out the most comfortable position for spying out the window yet…

Just straddles the back of the sofa with his legs hanging either side.

Just been out with him and he got a load of those horrible spiky thistly things stuck in his fur. Absolute nightmare to get out. He’s ripped some out himself and they must now be stuck in his throat and he keeps heaving like he’s trying to be sick :pensive:

Gave him some crunchy peanut butter on a cracker earlier to try and help clear his throat up and it seems to have done the trick

We were filming him last night, because he was trying to get hold of a box of chocolates that were slightly out of his reach on the coffee table.

Here is a gif I have produced from the final seconds of that video…

sorry i just need to say this somewhere Keep having rows with my parents over her behaviour and how we react to it. Had another one tonight. I don’t think I can cope with her stealing and eating dangerous or important things (she’s currently obsessed with glasses and got my mum’s again this evening) or the absolute rage mode my parents go into. It happens at least once every day and it’s such an ordeal. My mum is constantly crying about how she can’t go out because the dog is so badly behaved and she hates her life because she is tied to the dog. I keep saying we need to rehome Misty then because even though we adore her, we clearly cannot cope with any behaviour less than perfect and you can’t have a dog if you’re like that ffs. and it’s not fair on her when she could be with people who can stay calm and realise dog’s brains work differently. It breaks my heart and whenever I say it my parents fly into a rage at me for being so ridiculous. I’m just so unhappy and I have no idea what to do. I feel so awful for having pressured my parents into getting a dog and for Misty as well. She could have had a perfect family and instead she got us.

Thank you, it honestly does help knowing other people have the same problems. I typed a load of stuff but I’m worried everyone will judge me. I really do love her so much, and so do my parents, but I feel like we’re failing her. We’ll work it out, I just needed to say it out loud. Thank you for listening and offering advice (I’m working on the keeping occupied/taking her out for longer walks stuff) I appreciate it so much especially as you’re going through the puppy phase with Willow! How is she and Sascha doing?

Aaaaand I’ve just been bitten trying to get my mum’s best shoe from her.

The photos do not do justice to exactly how muddy Bramble is right now.

Where it looks like he has a black eye - mud.
Ears - mud.
Legs - caked in it.

Bonus shot of the two of them:
