Oh yeah, she may look like butter wouldn’t melt, but the evil idiot bastard dickhead has been barking her head off at 4am for the last two mornings because she wants to fight the foxes in the garden.

Still love her though

Ozzie is the same if he hears the foxes or owl during the night. Tries pulling my arm off if he sees a squirrel while we’re out on a walk too.

Oh no. Hope that she gets better quickly.

Oh god yeah. If Letty sees a squirrel you can write off the rest of the day because she will be fired up and lairy for hours afterward. Terriers gonna terrier.

If Hollie sees a mouse in her garden, you won’t see her for hours because she’ll be so busy in the bushes trying to track it down. Not even food or the offer of walkies will bring her out.

So I just had to get in the river to save our dog - she chased a seagull over the weir and couldn’t get back out. We’re both fine, but is there anything I should keep an eye on?

Thanks, think we’re both okay! Thank goodness for lifesaving courses when I was a kid! Dogs are pretty robust, aren’t they? She seems pretty happy and normal now

My sister got a puppy. This is Betty. I can’t believe she exists.

image Thanks, she seems fine, just chilling out on the sofa. Probably more exercise than I’ve done in a while, swimming in boots is rough

This sounds terrifying. I’ve had to rescue Bertie in similar situations before. The sense of panic is incredible. Bloody dogs.

Glad that you’re both okay,

Thanks; silly dogs! I had our kid with me as well, who thankfully stayed really calm and was basically great through the whole thing. Some nice guy gave me his coat, and another dog walker gave me their spare lead because ours went in the river. I’d hope she’s learned from this, but if not I definitely have - no more off the lead near the weir again!

How’s the pup?

Thanks dad, I’ll keep it safe in my den.

I  LOVE  HIM

The little bugger has dug the gravel around the patio up and shredded the membrane underneath it - presumably in an attempt to get to next door’s dog - so he’s under house arrest at the moment.

Just met Reggie - adorable, and very tiny fluff ball. Can’t wait to introduce him to my two.
