This is sterling research, naturally, but I’m sceptical that “a two-year-old dog is 42.1 in human years”.
Any thoughts?

My 2 year old dog is going grey and wants to sleep most of the time so…yeah maybe?
Dogs live to about 800 years old.
@escutcheon did a long explanation about dog years being nonlinear WRT his lovely fella a few years back. Fascinating.
EDIT: although I think the figures he had were more like mid-30s for a 3 year old.
that dog blowing the party whistle is pretty cool
I’ll have you know that I’m approximately 42.1 and only going grey slightly and wanting to sleep a lot (but not most) of the time!
nonsense imo. i like to think that they have a longer ‘youth’ and a shorter ‘old age’ compared to us. A 2 -year old dog is still a pup.
*haven’t read the article
I imagined a new years party where a dog walks in and everyone starts yelling at the dog because it isnt a new dog year and the celebration isnt theirs to have
Also, bollocks is a newborn puppy the equivalent of a 25-year-old human.
what kind of puppy is bollocks
like I really want to film this
including a close up of someone saying
“GET THE HELL OUT, YOU HAVEN’T EARNED THIS YOU CANIS LUPUS PIECE OF FUCK”
can it be real?
Yes.
great name imo
yeah
I would watch and laugh at this sketch, if it was done correctly
It’s the sort of name an 8 year old who’d just learnt some swear words would come up with.
“What would you like to call our new puppy, darling?”
“Bollocks.”
it’s pretty funny if you imagine what that FENTON video could have been like
Does that formula not mean a dog is born 31 years old?
Edit: Oh, misread the ln(age) part.
