do you want to go toe to toe ruffers? clean dishes are key to harmonious living

Hi.
I have this. I don’t want to put hot wet teabags into the bin because it produces smells and bin juice. I let them dry out on the little plate and then put them in the bin.

Not if you have any sense of perspective whatsoever. I mean I barely create any washing up because I eat maybe two meals a week, but if there’s something I need in the sink I just wash it. It takes less than one minute to do so, much less to move things from the sink. It’s nothing.

And as per that thread on the old site, I remain **

dw lad I have perspective, it just baffles me that they do this, and it’s 100% of the time. They’re actually nice to live with, I just can’t wrap my head around how they can be arsed to leave so many dishes all the time.

Domino can fuck off as well. He lives round the corner from me now so I see him all the time

My boyfriend can’t understand how I don’t clean up vegetable peelings as I go along. Never seen someone get so angry about leaving the garlic skin (flakey bit?) on the side whilst cooking.

Luckily i’ve perfected my i dont care attitude so he just does it all for me now

my wife says ā€œpocket of my coatā€ instead of coat pocket and I can’t help but contradict her every time.

Well that’s where the perspective comes in, not everyone minds as much do they.

Yeah I don’t really mind washing up for other people, as long as they don’t take the piss.

Still baffling though, as per the title of the thread

I do this quite often too, yeah.

disagree

My old housemates used to eat take away pizzas in the living room (front of the house) and then take the box all the way to the back of the house (very far) to the kitchen to put the empty pizza box NEXT to the recycling bin that was too small for the pizza boxes.

They also used to put plates of half eaten dinners/food in the sink because they were done. Where were they expecting all the food to go? One girl literally left a full slice of cake in the sink on a plate then when i asked her if she was finished with the cake she just said ā€˜yeah’

Free cake, though.

well for what it matters I do some of their dishes most times when I’m doing mine. I still don’t understand why they leave theirs for so long, especially when all the cutlery and mugs are used up. But alas, I feel we are at an impasse

any other response would be a lot weirder to be honest
