Martin Rebelski was playing with them when I saw them last year, so you never know.
I guess not being a permanent member he doesn’t record with them though? not sure, I was actually pondering this earlier on funnily enough.
Yeah I love Carousels
The more I listen to Carousels, the more it kinda sounds like Radiohead’s Reckoner if it were produced by Dave Fridmann. The production is very cluttered and noisy. I really like the song, but I hope the whole album isn’t so oversaturated.
But it’s about nostalgia for a fairground, which is by its very nature a cluttered and noisy place, no?

Need to listen to the song a few more times before I give some genera thoughts. It definitely belies their age though. They sound as youthful and invigorated as their early stuff here.

Yeah, it’s reminiscent of Andalucia, but has way more urgency and I think is probably a better song on the first couple listens.
