I have never worn or owned a bath robe or a dressing gown.
I have also never worn pyjamas since I was about 14 years old.
And never, ever worn slippers.

I like this and I might even buy one for myself just so I can call it a house coat now

My mate calls his slippers house shoes

My Dad has house shoes which are different to his slippers and are used for moving between the house and the garage (which he calls a “workshop” sometimes)

Does he call them garage shoes when he’s in the garage??

I call your mate a cunthouse.

(They’d be ‘workshop shoes’ in that instance I think)

His search for the perfect “house shoe” was a source of light-hearted teasing for many years, to this day I don’t know if he’s ever found the thing he’s looking for (see also his search for the perfect pair of jeans)

I call it a house coat. Mainly because it winds Mrs Fox up slightly.

What colour is your dressing gown?[poll public=true]

  • White
  • Teal
  • Azure
  • Hazel

  • Paisley / another pattern
  • Some other horrible colour

I have one but never wear it, got it for sitting up in bed feeding babies which was many years ago now.

Hate men in dressing gowns, never know when you might get a horrible glimpse of scrotum. Ew

main gown is purple with multicoloured spots

secondary gown is gream

I’ve never owned one. I just put on clothes when I get up.
