Think they do everything pretty well.

Think pretty can designs also might have something to do with it.

Gonna ignore the sours comments.

Gave up booze from Feb to July this year, so reckon I’ll do something similar. Will wait until I’m back at work on the 15th though.

I just had some of that one really nice bottle my wife’s uncle bought that I instagrammed sorry.

I am not really much of an aficionado of whisky. I mean I like it and I really prefer your er Islay (?) style ones like Talisker and Laphroaig.

What I can recommend is a bottle of Finlaggen which is as good as Talisker but made by a secret distillery so it’s cheaper.

Also feels a bit weird to be recommending alcohol in a thread about Dry January

all very well and good theo but i’m planning to become even more of a weaboo in 2k18 and i don’t think that’s going to help me much

How will this square with your Tolkien obsession?

Aberlour a’bunadh is where you should start. It is the business. Got it on amazon for a bit cheaper than normal.

This one? Looks good but too rich for my taste.

Yep! Ah that’s fair.

It’s probably well worth it and better than buying wanker beers tbf.

Well it’s certainly a good accompaniment

What would you recommend in the £35-40 price bracket

again, sorry for this conversation dry Januaryers

Probably not completely but planning to put a stop to booze in the house for a bit. Reckon 90% of my drinking is having a couple of beers at home on an evening.

profk has done me over on that tbh with that whole dwarves came first bullshit. need a new schtick.

If you’ve got a drink problem try to do something about it.

If you think you’re drinking too much then just cut down generally.

Dry January doesn’t help you or the publicans and bar staff who need to make a living.

If you’re a beer drinker, stop drinking big corporation piss and spend your money on independent breweries.

Just like “detoxing”, dry January doesn’t do any good. You have to be better all the time, not just for one month.
