Pocketmouse mentions the car. And a porn studio. Then says…

Not specifically stating that, by ‘it’, she means the car.

Because it’s obvious she’s asking about the car.

But I, with indisputable hilarity and cunning, imply otherwise, and suggest that she’s asking whether the porn studio has been ok for you.

But how has the car been used as a porn studio at home?

We may never know…

I’m with you there, much better to drive on roads

Just dropped it off to the MOT guy. £70. Was hoping i’d bump it up to 26610 but it wasn’t to be.

Do you actually need a new car? That one should be good for a few more decades, surely?

Big fan of the very very end of this video…

Hurrrr hurrrrr…

Vauxhall Astra not made the list pal? Mine was from late '07 and was the 1.8 design automatic and was bloody great tbf.

Only became an audi wanker because I wrote it off.

Didn’t see any nearby and tbh a little bit anti-Vauxhall after owning a '97 Corsa (it was okay, but hasn’t filled me with faith in the brand)

Also not sure I should be listening to car advice from a self confessed Audi wanker

No, it hadn’t, so thanks. Checked on the history of what we’re getting when we agreed to buy it - doesn’t seem to have had the mileage fiddled and no significant advisories at all - it failed an MOT last year because of a couple of bulbs that were replaced, but otherwise completely clean in recent years.

Sorry - reads a bit harsh… cheers for the tip though EmO - appreciated

All my dealings with Vauxhall after I bought my Corsa from a dealer were simply awful. From trying to charge me £450 to change a wiper motor right through to not bothering to inform me that it had failed its MOT - only when I rang at 5pm, just before I was going to go and pick it up, did they tell me that it had failed in the morning, meaning I couldn’t drive it home and had to get myself home from Potters Bar.

Not at all impressed.

That said, I’ve driven a couple of new Astras as hire cars in the past few months and they are pretty decent cars. Granted, I don’t think they’re entry level spec, but a colossal step up from the shit I was used to.

Evans Halshaw?

My audi is a bloody beaut, really. but I do miss that astra sometimes. (mainly when in traffic - the auto was handy) and was super reliable and cheap to run.

Pretty sure I would never own another citroen. My little fiesta was fine, but was very no frils.

Yup.

Aye, wasn’t too impressed with them either - they had a couple of decent looking things for sale the other week, but didn’t bother even going to look.

The guy at the MOT place reckons it had a couple more years before we’d have to start forking out relatively large amounts to replace things. But you’re right, didn’t need a new car, just wanted one.
