Made friends with a pigeon though, it will happily go about its own way a couple of feet away from me while I sit not even entirely still in the garden.

They really are. I read a good selection of fox tales recently in my Japanese folklore book I am still plugging away at, they seem to have been viewed as a GBOL in them too.

Yep, excitement building here. One of my old college paper mates is covering it and he’s swept a lot of our gang along with him. It’s been on national news so it’s definitely entered the national consciousness.
