I’m watching Lady Macbeth.

It’s not a pleasant film.

We are too tight for takeaway pizza at the moment so I can’t check a menu, and I am not sure what exactly is available in Asda/Iceland as I don’t regularly get the pizzas, otherwise that would be a good strategy.

Yup. I’ll use it in preference to McDonalds and the like if I’m in London, there’s one nearby and I need something fairly quick, but there’s plenty of better options than that and Shake Shack for cheaper and better burger meals if I’ve got more time to pick and choose

Was gonna have a moan about my pay ‘rise’ but urrggh. Nevermind.

50s too big for your wallet?

Also, of very important note: I have recently switched the type of bra I wear and it feels about 1000% better and has immediately improved my posture :+1:

You all of course needed to know this.

Basically, but they do grilled cheese. Unless you want one of their terrible vegetable burgers McDonald’s seems pretty useless to vegetarians outside of breakfast hours?

Just got home from work

Missed the sunset but the aftermath is good

Gonna eat some ratatouille now

Ah okay, I wouldn’t know about the vegetarian options at Mcdonalds :woman_shrugging: game on for cheese toasties tho!

Yes!

I’ve been meaning to go this summer on one of my child-free days but then I remember I don’t need a massive burger, milkshake and huge fries on my own.

About to wash up the aftermath of cockles and chorizo, the former collected from the beach yesterday by the funkycalves. Very amusing watching the cockles squirt while they cleaned themselves!

Just had some food at one of my favourite places to eat in Glasgow, is called Nonya and everyone when I glasgow should check it out.
I’m fact local DiS favourite @cutthelights has eaten here with me before! :+1:
Now off to some jazz cafe in town for some jazz…I’m not currently sure how I feel about it.

Interesting menu, what did you have?

One of the neighbours is singing quite loudly but she has a good voice and is singing decent songs so no complaints here

I’m drinking vodka and pink grapefruit and fretting about a lack of reply to a WhatsApp I sent a few hours back.

Slap bang in the middle mood-wise after being miserable on Tuesday and quite cheery yesterday.

Had some laughs, but I’m still down about how incredibly socially awkward to the point of uselessness I can be at times. Does anyone sometimes get a kind of burnout from being around people for a long time? Taking the long walk to the train station with just my headphones on felt oddly liberating.

for your fyi: I wasn’t naked, as I realise “just my headphones” may have implied
