Anyone know of or into this band of Vancouver Island-based noisesters on the ever reliable Upset the Rhythm? They’re touring the UK with legendary avant-drummer Chris Corsano from early next week and I’m going to take my increasingly balding dome down to see them in Bristol.

Yeah I do a radio show and I played one of the advance singles (errr such as it is, all 9 minutes of it) on one recently. It’s pretty good once it gets going.

They’re playing here over the bank holiday weekend so I’ll probs go and see them.

Was not aware of them, but as a former resident of Vancouver Island I am immediately interested in them.

Now checking if I can get to either of the Cafe Oto shows…

dunno where you are but there are two more dates unaccounted for - Exeter and another one in London at the end.

I’ll be at the Cube on Thursday. Not familiar with EB. Mainly going for Chris Corsano.

It will be the filling in a Ufomammut / Big Brave sandwich.

like most CC stuff I’ve heard, plus he blew my mind when I saw him live at Peer Hat pre-bad times (I think?)
