R n B/pop covers by indie bands can be quite fun and good

Or the opposite

Yeah I’m sorry I really did try for 30 seconds or so but I don’t want to listen to or be aware of elbow covering one thing, I’m afraid

Alkaline Trio used to cover Since U Been Gone but that’s good since it already sounds like an Alkaline Trio song

I guess at least it’s not being done in the “Live Lounge”

Acoustic covers of rnb songs have some responsibility for the career of Ed sheeran too. So can’t ever be forgiven

Where do you stand on the subject of Me First and the Gimme Gimmes?

Used to work as a barman/waiter at a racecourse (Kempton) and every week they hAd this Frank Sinatra impersonator. He must have been about 30 odd. Couldn’t decide if it was a great gig or soul destroying. Would be up for doing Elvis Vegas years impersonator. Just drinking and singing

As a younger man, they taught me that Rainbow Connection off of The Muppets is one of the all-time greatest songs so I’ll forever be grateful to them for that. However, they are an appalling, wretched bunch.

Why are people like this

clapper loader

he looks like his head is going to explode with the effort

“Hey! Clapper Loader, clap-a-loada this!”

(And then you chuck something at them)

Screamo/metal covers of pop songs

I hate every single aspect of this so fucking much

I went to see Postmodern Jukebox with my sister, and it was a bloody brilliant gig. Just saying.

Their version of Sledgehammer is fantastic.

love videos like this where the band cant act for shit, even tho theyre only acting going for a drink or whatever and it just looks like the most boring night in the world, and then it cuts to the band playing and they look like they couldnt be less bothered about it. love it
