One of my toes is still really sore from the walk yesterday so will just do a 2hr today and then probably head to Egton Bridge for a longer walk very early tomorrow.

Dog still seems pretty tired so should be fine I hope :crossed_fingers:

Have two easter eggs (one I bought for myself). Have already cracked into one oops. Need to basically not eat from Tuesday to Friday to undo the damage of all this pizza / chocolate. Didn’t even enjoy the pizza that much tbh.

I’m not sure why I’m writing any of this. I think maybe I should go back to bed. I feel a bit drunk despite not having had any alcohol for weeks. Probably too much sugar too early in the morning.

Happy Easter.

Dairy milk egg from father in law, prob more to come.

Did the annual egg hunt first thing this morning, kids now masters and find them all within about a minute. V finally realised the Easter Bunny may not be real. Sad but he is ten. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Off to church then to my aunt in Witney. Sun’s out, may well wear my eggcellent yellow dress.

I’ve had a really lovely weekend, went with 6 other mates to Margate and we’re all staying together in an airbnb. One brought their 5 year old with them and we did him an Easter egg hunt around the place, so he ended up with 18 small eggs (maybe slightly bigger than kinder eggs I guess?) 1 standard sized vegan one and the a large Cadbury’s caramel one. Was really fun to watch him find em all.
We went to Dreamland after, was awesome and never felt overly busy. Had one of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted on the Friday night too, and the bonus was it was vegan. Lots of drinking and great conversations with my mates too, love them all.

I’m gonna be back in London by about 2ish, depending on how lazy I’m feeling i’ll either meet up with a thinly veiled near me or head to Hampstead Heath for my mate’s post birthday hair of the dog drinking in the sun. We’ll seeeeeeee

Just do what I do and buy your own egg. I have no shame, and what I got myself is nicer than any token sympathy eggs I might have otherwise been given.

Up early for yet more painting before it gets too hot.

I’m going out for a family meal later, I’ve got eggs for the nephews and niece, and flowers for mum.
Dad is borderline diabetic so no egg for him.

We agreed no eggs for adults this year, just the kids.

Morning

I have 1 egg, a big dairy Milk I got for myself (I learnt several years ago I need to sort out my egg needs, cos no one else is gonna do it. Eggtonomous if you will)

I also have the kids eggs in the flat cos I forgot to give them to them (don’t worry, they’ll have plenty of eggs to keep them going till I see them again)

I have only vague plans for what should be a quiet day. Bike, maybe clear up the garden a bit if I can be CBA

Wife and kids went to her mum and did the easter vigil thing and stayed over. I stayed at home as I am fussed by neither chocolate nor monotheistic religion and stayed up until 3am watching rocky 1,2and 3 back to back. In conclusion, less actual boxing than I expected, think there’s only five matches in three films. Think I might sneak rocky 4 in before they get back this morning if I start watching it now…

Currently enjoying being a killjoy and telling my daughter she’s eaten too much chocolate already and needs to give it a rest for a bit. There’s an idea to go fossil hunting at Aust later, not sure if it will come off or not.

No egg for me, but the TV did get me a Lindt dark chocolate bunny because “you like dark chocolate”. I don’t like dark chocolate.
