Watching Warcraft. Not a fucking clue what’s going on. Am left assuming the characters mean something to those who played world of Warcraft because the film’s certainly not wasting anytime trying to develop them. Pretty impressed that it’s possible to spend this much money on something so incoherent.

I’ve not but I’l check it out. It’s basically psychogeography though, right. I have to do a bit of sensory writing in relation to place for my homework from time to time but I struggle with it. I’ve been on a few smell walks of the city with the local psychogeography club and it’s ok but tends to just be ‘here is a tow path that smells of piss’, ‘here is a phonebox that smells of piss’ etc

Hiya Bam! How’s it going?

She’s walking about now so is officially a toddler, bit freaked out about it. She’s learned a dance move that’s worryingly close to a twerk and her favourite ‘songs’ to do it to are the dramatic background tunes on Masterchef and Sound of da Police

I know nothing about the psychogeography side but I’m very aware of particular smells making me think of places or times or people (which I think is the same thing.)

Haha cool :grinning:
I was hanging out with my nephews today, 5, 3 and 3 months. Good fun but knackering.

Do you know much about synesthesia? It’s really interesting if you don’t! Associating colours with days for example, smelling a note of music rather than just hearing it etc.

Smell memory is incredible.

Phew! That sounds intense - have a wine (you’re probably drinking one already)

I know what it means but can’t really get my head around how it would work.

It is really interesting though.

Not bad really, I feel a bit sad this weekend so just planning a day out on Wednesday to cheer myself up - going to go on a steam train!

Mini stack does a David gray-ish head wobble whenever music’s on now, quite happy about it. She’s also picked oasis over blur after a long process of deduction.
