Evening

Had chicken dippers, chips and peas for tea. Proper meal, that.

Just applied for a new job at work. Not a promotion as such, more just moving to another team but it’s slightly more money and the hours are more to my liking (7 til 7 - and its 4 on, 4 off too, which is amazing), the workload is much easier too, running the shift rather than planning the bloody thing.

I spoke to the Transport Manager (who would be my new boss) this morning and she basically said if I put my name down for it, she’ll give me the job. Boom.

ok lads so. if i’m filling in a job application where they want a comprehensive 10-year employment/unemployment/travel history, should i put in all my journalism work experience? it’s not really relevant to the job and I could put it in the notes for my journalism course I guess.

Off to the parents until Monday to look after their dog whilst they’re away.

Positives:
They live in the Yorkshire Dales. It’s lush
The fridge will be full and free
I like the dog
Need time to get a grip on my dissertation

Negatives:
TV has other commitments so I’m on my tod
Having to get the train as my car is buggered
The free alcohol temptations will be constant
