Fair. It isn’t even that awkward for me really (bus and a train, ~40 mins).
What we do need more of, is shows that end at a reasonable time. If the main act isn’t going to play for >2h, there is no reason for promoters to schedule it so that it still finishes at 11pm.
I sound like a right bore. Am suitably excited for this evening, having missed ERR on many previous tours.
I agree with you. I’ve walked out of a few gigs because the main band weren’t coming on till 10 pm.
Post lock down I can’t be arsed.

Utterly fantastic show. Better than I could have hoped for.
Just enough humour in the (minimal) between song chat to stop it being impossibly crushing.
Jo Quail was amazing too.

No worries at all, mate. Glad you enjoyed it and the gig has had a lot of tremendous feedback. I went to see Maria bc at St Pancras Church. A very difficult choice but the correct one for me. I will update the last night’s gig thread when I get a chance. A very competitive evening for gigs in London, as Torres and Arab Strap in town too.

I saw her in manchester and london and both were great but London felt like a stronger performance overall and Jo Quail was a bit less dull… sorry. I love how awkward Emma is on stage by herself. For someone who always seemed pretty uneasy being a frontperson/in the spotlight I can only imagine how excruciating some of this must be. Really liked the piano version of pump organ song as well.
