Not sure it’s “scaremongering bullshit”, we have a few people working here with really bad posture problems from being sat badly all day.
Just because it doesn’t affect ALL people, doesn’t mean it doesn’t affect some.

Sit/stand desk update - I am currently the only person on my entire floor (maybe 250 people) using their desk in the standing position.

Conversely, people have always been getting crooked backs etc with age without ever having had an office job in their lives
