Emo revival thread for the new boards

Along with the MBV show in London it was easily my favourite music related hour of last year…catharsis at a time in life when this kind of therapy really helped

It’s a pretty epic few weeks for the genre with those gigs and that festival in Leeds with Braid and Faraquet also then playing in London …sadly I might have to limit to the SDRE gig but if money and scheduling weren’t an issue …

Could be wrong but I can’t see any mention of Pot Valiant on the forum - I am not 100% sure it belongs in this thread - its at least equal parts slowcore and indie-rock as midwest emo but I am a big fan. Grateful to Numero Group for their continued excellence at unearthing gems in the aforementionned genres (not to mention shoegaze and gospel)
