also find it impossible to tell who is a genuine account and who isn’t on twitter. It almost forces you to lapse into conspiracy theory and denial because so few people seem genuine (to me at least). Doubt it will ever be possible to detox that place into something healthy and constructive

This is one of the reasons I hate twitter as well. Why mentally exhaust yourself arguing with a bot or someone who just wants to piss people off? It’s a horribly toxic platform but I get a lot of news info from it.

I’m not even on it I just look at it which is even worse!

I mean the anti-semitism issue has brought forth some really shocking stuff and made me realise how easily people can defend the indefensible when backed into a corner but it makes me wonder how much awful stuff must be out there that never even surfaces!
