Would much rather one of Earl+Mike and Pulp were on the Friday night as for me both headliners then (Mac De Marco and Caroline) aren’t the energy bringing vibes that I normally want at that time of night.

The Sunday could often turn into an overly safe folky snooze fest, until Howard Monk usually pulling something fantastic out of the bag at the tipi tent in the evening. I still miss him curating.
Pretty much made the decision to do Joshua Idehen on Friday night yesterday.

Bassvictim have pulled out and been replaced by the Stop Making Sense recreation fronted by the bloke from Dutch Uncles, who were supposedly going to play one of the Folly secret sets anyway.
Ouch, the Angine vs Brakes and Ratboys vs SG Goodman clashes are painful. I guess I’ll do AdP and SGG as I’ve seen Brakes and Ratboys before - but they are tough misses.
Which consists of walking around the house with a Bluetooth speaker while listening to a Spotify playlist as I get stuff together before we leave in the morning.

My biggest clash is Ratboys up against S.G. Goodman if anyone can vouch for one over the other for me!

I saw Lily Seabird last night and her current full band set up is very Big Thief / Neil Young vibes, big ragged jams, it was absolutely fantastic. Recommended for anyone going to the festival!

I can’t, as it’s one of my worst clashes too. Ratboys are getting the nod, as their latest is one of my favourites of the year. But I ain’t happy about it!
Ratboys were really great when I saw them at the garage recently, it’s a rotten clash but they would pip it for me…

The intercept on the Venn diagram between Ratboys and Goodman fans has got to be pretty big so seems like a peculiar pair of bands to schedule at the same time. I saw Ratboys in Southampton earlier this year and they were great so I wouldn’t discourage anyone from seeing them. But I’m off to Goodman - only because I haven’t seen her before.
I’m going to Ratboys for exactly same reasons - saw SG Goodman supporting Jason Isbell. Haven’t seen Ratboys despite being a big fan of last 2 albums. Ratboys it is!

Never seen either, sickened by this clash, especially as, as was mentioned, they would likely attract similar. Only one I have yet to figure out a solution to.
The Morgan Nagler/Madra Salach/Shallowater/Just Mustard is another one. Think I’m going to end up doing all of Morgan followed by a half hour of each of the others.
When I absolutely can’t decide by band, I choose the better stage instead to resolve the issue.
