It’s bloody great. My wife has an annual ritual of getting their kedgeree on the Sunday of GM.

Good film!

Yeah I rated it

Don’t think Goan Fish Curry was there last year. Which is, frankly, unacceptable.

But it’s all about the Happy Maki vegan sushi now. That stuff is “da bomb”, as I believe the kids are still saying.

A quid more expensive than at Glastonbury for the sushi rolls. Had to tut at that one, but still bought two.

I can’t stop thinking about what food will be there now…

Oh mate I know, but I am a crushing bore who organises my AOTY lists religiously :man_shrugging:

Also I estimate that there’s still 40 bands to announce, which I reckon means two more announcements. Makes a change from just two in the last few years

I always make my Spotify point with some irony…you make some good points, essentially pixies are a huge scoop and it’s good to see (I just debate the “biggest” booking argument).

I do think current “buzz”, as pretentious as that sounds, counts for a lot at EOTR. There’s something special about going to see an act that everyone’s talking about, and for me that trumps a large discography or history of well attended gigs. Stuff like Black Country New Road and The Murder Capital last year, King Gizzard in 2017, Whitney in 2016…

As stated above, I will be going solo this year, and would appreciate a meat at some point :+1:

Deffo up for a DIS meat

Got any guesses for who would fulfill a buzz role this year? Probably far too early to tell.

Arlo Parks, Black Country New Road (again), one out of Dry Cleaning, Lazarus Kane and Just Mustard maybe

Looks like Big Thief are playing on the Thursday

That’s a bit of a shame…often feels like the crowd is just warming up on Thursdays. However, snce they’ve been doing that slot the only one I’ve properly enjoyed was Slowdive

@zorb at this point I’ve no idea…and to be fair the buzz bands lower down the bill will probably only start gaining momentum once festival season has started.
