Almost certainly the worst list we’ll get this year thanks to Esquire. Warning: Inexplicably contains unreleased Pete Doherty album

Nice that they’ve managed mess up Metronomy’s album title! Only one year out ‘Summer 09’…

Apparently someone got hold of Decibel’s January 2017 issue and posted their top 40 so they posted it themselves afterwards. Some good stuff in there for fans of loud shouty music

Nah, monthlies always come out in the 2nd/3rd week of the month. Rough Trade is pretty much always first as it’s when their Christmas retail campaign begins.

Fopp

Oh Fopp really! >>>>>>> 99. Bloc Party – Hymns :relaxed:

Pixies at #11 is even more laughable

too. early.

How nice to see Divine Comedy in a few of these lists! Suede’s night thoughts looks like it’s going to be one of those incredible albums that get’s ignored simply because of who the band is.

Good to see King Creosote in the top 10, but I don’t think that album was necessarily a top 10 album. Dunno what the latest Primal Scream album is doing in there at all.

Got Astronaut meets Appleman on at the moment. Its quite beautiful but it won’t be making my top ten either. Glad it’s getting some mentions though!

I’m guessing Fopp employees all put KC at no.11 in their personal charts.
