That’s a shame. He’s a great talent and could do without being wound up in such a way.

#123

And what about Rabada?

#124

Not sure how I feel about an England opener reverse sweeping a spinner.

#125

not cause of the reverse, but he reminds me quite a lot of shane watson. seems to pie meditate a fair bit.

#126

pie meditate. boooo

#127

Well i guess this is what happens when you have fewer mainline spinners and seamers than the opposition, but it’s a shame that this series is now going to be ridden with Saffa absences. It also shows how difficult Anderson still is to face, even though he lacks the pace of the rest of the strike bowlers in the match.

#128

Oh god Ballance and Cook setting up a declaration at 2 an over …

#129

Hopefully we’ll see some actual shots after lunch.

#130

I apologise unreservedly for jinxing this.

#131

Hopefully we’ll still be batting after lunch

#132

Think England will be very happy to get a lead of 320.

#133

They’d be ecstatic with that!

#134

don’t know whether to be less nervous cause we’ve got some more on the board or more nervous cause the pitch looks playable again.

#136

Two great catches by England; Bairstow and Ali. What a player Bairstow has become for England.

#137

SA falling apart like a clown’s car.

#138

Turns out this morning’s loss of wickets was a tactical manoeuvre and not in fact an embarrassing collapse.

#139

lovely game of skittles on a pleasant Sunday in July.
