Fall Be Kind is right up there with the best Animal Collective stuff I reckon, feels a lot less like a clearing house EP than most of their others.

i think the panpipes on the first track immediately put me off that EP (apart from What Would I Want Sky which i’d already seen them do live)

Blind Love had some good songs, even great songs. If it had been another EP, we’d probably be raving about that one too.

I’m a big fan of the EP format for its positive effect on quality control. I’d go so far as to say that at least 90% of all albums released would be significantly better if they were EPs rather than LPs.
